Sandrine RAFFIN:
Born in 1972 in the Paris region, she spent most of her chilhood in Lorraine where she has learned violin making in Mirecourt (Vosges), in the footsteps of Jean-François Raffin, bow maker and expert in French bowmaking.
She obtained her diploma of Technician in violinmakin in 1991.
She then joined the worshop RAFFIN at 68 rue de Rome. She began learning bow-making and managing the family business.
In 2005, she will recognize the company RAFFIN "Master Craftsman" by the Chamber of Trades.
In 2007, after 17 years of collaboration, she created her own company to take over, and as part of a succession, the activities related to bow making that she has developed in the paternal establishment.
She is currently President and collaborates every day in the repair, restoration and manufacturing of the Atelier.
Juliette MARILLIER
Born in 1991 in Provins in Seine-et-Marne, Juliette moved to Italy in 2009 to study and earn her diploma in violin making's school in Milano, Italy.
In 2015 she joined the workshop to begin her apprenticeship in bowmaking
Juliette repaires and manufactures the bows.
Jade BIGOT
Born in 1999 in Cormeilles en Parisis in the Val D'Oise.
Jade, after obtaining her BAC in management sciences and technology, went to Korea for 3 months to study at the prestigious Yonsei University in Seoul.
In 2019 she joined the family’s workshop and began learning bowmaking assisted by her grandfather, Jean-François RAFFIN, as well as her parents Sandrine RAFFIN and Sylvain BIGOT.
Jade restores and repaires the bows and begins to make bows. She also actively participates in the management of the company.
